Transportation Analyst Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Transportation Analyst to join our Inbound Logistics Planning team in Seattle or Everett, Washington! The Senior Transportation Analyst will manage domestic and international transportation and logistics, ensuring compliance, cost control, process improvement, and cross-functional leadership. Position Responsibilities: Route, coordinate, consolidate, expedite, and document shipments Certify dangerous goods and ensure regulatory compliance (domestic and international) Prepare and transmit export/import documentation, maintain licenses, and classify goods per regulations Investigate loss/damage claims and perform root-cause analysis Analyze shipment options, develop transportation plans, and issue routing instructions Process and audit freight bills, manage freight costs, and support contract selection/negotiation for transport services Liaise with carriers and stakeholders to coordinate international and domestic freight movements Lead implementation and documentation of new processes, tools, and team improvements Coordinate internal audits, assessments, and compliance investigations Identifies cross-functional impacts and creates business solutions Solves complex problems, makes independent decisions, and serves as subject matter expert Uses knowledge in the following: Import/export and regulatory frameworks (e.g. import/export, intellectual properties, International Standards Organization (ISO), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR)) Logistics systems/databases for supply, inventory, ILS (Integrated Logistics Support), and export control Operations/manufacturing functions and supply chain strategies (inventory, kitting, consolidation, lead-time reduction) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 6+ years experience with: Transportation and Logistics operations Collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources Interpreting data and presenting analysis: providing recommendations to management Ability to travel domestically on a potential quarterly basis Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 6+ years in a lead or similar role supporting International Ocean Freight Transportation & Coordination Experience in a Supply Chain Management and/or Freight Forwarding role Exceptional multi-tasking skills Strong interpersonal skills, including in oral and written communication Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Companys Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
