EXL Program Instructor

Job Description: BACR's Expanded Learning Program at Francis Scott Key Elementary School is currently seeking committed and passionate Instructors to lead Academic, Enrichment, and Recreation activities for the Expanded Learning Programs in San Francisco. Our ideal Program Instructor will be strongly dedicated to youth development, creative, enthusiastic, and able to commit to working the entire school year. Benefits: Pay rate: $24-$26/hour DOE Flexible hours negotiated upon hiring (23- 25 hours per week) Paid BACR Holidays Stepping stone into a career in education, or running your own Expanded Learning Program Employee assistance program, dental, vision, wellness program, life insurance, flexible spending account, commuter benefits (based on total weekly hours) Requirements: Ability to work MondayFriday until 6:00 pm for the duration of the school year Passionate about youth development Experience working with Elementary youth preferred Commitment to education equity and leadership Commitment to working August 2025- June 2026 (Full academic School Year) Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Ability to plan and facilitate activities for up to 20 students Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time Ability to practice open, clear, and consistent communication and commitment to participate in professional development. Responsibilities: Support and maintain the emotional well-being of the students Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and BACR staff.
