Review Airbus current training programs and needs to ensure standards are being met. Monitor the implementation of aircraft systems techniques and practices at Airbus Training Centers and Airline sites and develop alternative training methods, when needed, if standards are not being met. Design and develop training programs by leveraging knowledge of theoretical concepts and mechanical / aerospace engineering. Report any safety issues or potential safety events. Create training demonstrations to ensure that the techniques utilized by aircraft technicians, engineers and inspectors correspond with the relevant aircraft definition and engineering requirements. LOCATION: Miami Springs, FL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field Prior experience must include the following: Experience in avionics systems, airframe, and powerplant; Experience in designing instructional courses pertaining to aviation maintenance; Experience with engine run procedures; Experience performing technical evaluations of aircraft systems; Experience providing technical assessments of technicians through different formats including written test, coding, and hands on practical exams; Experience developing EASA technical course presentations specific to aircraft systems for theoretical and simulation environment; and Experience in production or maintenance organization on equipment in an aeronautical environment. Aeronautical Mechanics license or equivalent regulatory license recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) required. Up to 80% domestic and international travel required to assist clients and colleagues for training purposes. Telework: Up to 1 day per week.
