THE JOB: As a Lead Barista/Fountain Worker at Luxor, you will lead and support Fountain Worker team members, maintain a clean and organized dining area, and deliver exceptional guest service. Through friendly and attentive interactions, you will create memorable experiences for every guest. THE STARTING RATE: $21.5806 hourly THE DAY-TO-DAY: Lead, coach, and train a shift of approximately 312 employees. Knowledgeable in selling techniques and service delivery for beverages and menu items. Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management and notify the supervisor and/or Security of any unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. Take and place orders; prepare, serve, and garnish food and beverages efficiently and accurately as applicable. Pack and complete orders according to guest preferences, including necessary condiments. Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment. Unload warehouse deliveries and stock items in designated storage areas while maintaining organization; stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed. Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of front- and back-of-house areas; clear tables and counters, sweep, and maintain the dining area without interfering with guest comfort. Establish par levels for daily orders and complete daily order sheets. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. 1+ years of experience as a Fountain Worker, Barista, Cashier, or in a coffee shop/café environment within a high-volume food and beverage operation.
