Department: Location: Health Sciences Center Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Regular Job Req ID: R108772 Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (6 Salaried) Position Description: The University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD) is seeking to hire a Unit Human Resources Specialist III. The position performs a wide range of HR administrative functions including talent acquisition, consultation, data analytics, employee training and development and project management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide full cycle talent acquisition to meet hiring and onboarding processes for faculty and staff. Provide HR support to faculty and staff. Provide HR consultation and guidance to ULSD staff, faculty and leaders. Analyze data trends and metrics and prepare monthly and quarterly reports. Research, monitor, and enforce policies to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies/procedures and legal requirements. HR project management. Liaison with main campus HR to administer FMLA, workers compensation and benefits. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention. Facilitate training and development plans on a variety of human resources topics and maintain records of participation. Participate in employee engagement planning and execution. Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning. Assist with payroll duties as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in human resources or related field and 4 years of experience. SHRM or HRCI certification. Competencies Keen attention to detail and accuracy. Critical thinking skills and ability to balance complex issues. Strong organization skills. Teamwork and relationship building skills- ability to partner with hiring supervisors and build relationships with prospective candidates. Strong communication skills- Clearly conveys information (verbal and written) with and to individuals or groups to ensure information is shared and that messages are understood. Demonstrates effective use of listening and questioning skills and displays openness to other people's ideas and thoughts. Target Compensation Maximum: $79,540.00 Target Compensation Minimum: $52,993.00 Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
