The Opportunity This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Toxicology Division. Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbotts Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions. The U.S. Toxicology Products Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting and executing strategically focused marketing campaigns and tactics to achieve the yearly sales and margin plan for the US Toxicology Products business unit. This role involves active participation in the annual marketing plan development cycle, where the specialist will contribute to the creation and execution of strategies that align with the overall business objectives. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for building compelling value propositions that effectively communicate the benefits and unique selling points of the products and services offered. They will also train and support the sales organization to ensure that the content is delivered effectively and resonates with the target audience. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and collaboration to drive marketing initiatives that differentiate the business in a competitive market. What Youll Work On Support strategically focused marketing campaigns and tactics to help achieve yearly sales and margin plan for US Toxicology Products business unit. Build compelling value propositions and train and support the sales organization on content delivery. Strategically develop and maintain marketing content and collateral, both digital and print Support Commercial team in competitive assessment and tactics to differentiate and best position the business. Develop and provide training programs and tools to the sales organization to increase effectiveness. Provide leadership for tradeshow and conference participation through planning, execution and follow up. Responsible for executing effective marketing events and programs, in line with marketing campaigns, developing and delivering lead generation programs. Actively participates in annual marketing plan development cycle and execution strategies. Required Qualifications BS or BA minimum 4 + years in downstream channel marketing in the healthcare field or a related area Familiar with the healthcare industry and regulations Team leadership and management with or without direct reports Strong interpersonal skills Basic project management skills Total available market experience of >$500MM USD Product portfolio management of value >$50MM USD Experience in business development and implementation of growth strategies and product launches Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders. Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with external thought leaders. Preferred Qualifications Secondary degree desirable (MBA, MSc, PhD.) Ideally experience in Toxicology Scientific and technical background preferred. Medical device experience preferred.
