USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app This position is for a Postdoctoral Associate who will perform key experiments in the Laboratory of Advanced Biomaterials (PI: Jeong) in Department of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering. The main field of research in Laboratory of Advanced Biomaterials is synthesis of novel biomaterials and their applications in regenerative medicine. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Design and perform experiments for the proposal that is being developed (50%) Neural stem cell differentiation into functioning neurons and oligodendrocytes in microgel assemblies Cardiac differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells in microgel assemblies NIH and DOW proposal preparation (50%) The research associate will provide help with proposal writing. More particularly, finding proper references, creating schematic diagrams and compiling preliminary data for the proposal.
