Experienced Supply Chain Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join the Strike & Surveillance/DLA Execution Team within its Supply Chain Organization in Hazelwood, MO.. The position will consist of managing purchase requisition (PR) constraints, performing aged PR root cause analysis and customer communication, and replicating the current Manufacturing Early Gate Review (EGR) process that support both US Navy and Fighter & Bomber/DLA Programs. Position Responsibilities: Assisting Procurement Agents with sourcing questions Assisting with commodity code issues Assisting with Buyer routing issues Assisting with constraints impacting PO placement Managing a burn down plan of aged PRs Coordinate with Program Management on help needed (over-budget request, contract modifications, etc.) Create weekly report of PRs aged 10 days beyond PR to PO cycle time target Capture root cause for aged PR (main category and subcategory) Provide root cause analysis results to develop corrective actions Align aged PRs with engineerings complex parts process Report PR status to program and request any help needed Identify POs placed each week Perform risk analysis to Customer OTD based on Supplier Contractual Date, part complexity, and supplier performance Based on OTD analysis, request Customer Delivery Date change from Contracts/Customer using current contract modification request process Track contract mod approvals and rejections Monitor Customer OTD metric to capture improved OTD performance (if any) Use feedback to continuously improve process Primary systems and tools include SCARS, SMPP, NWP, MS2, CCS, EPIC and Microsoft Excel This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 3+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem solving skills 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions 3+ years in Supply Chain Management Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience working with forecasting, Supply Chain Software Systems, Supply Chain modeling & Simulation tools, and ERP Systems 3+ years of experience with US Army/military supply chain systems and tools Basic understanding of constraint process Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field Typical Education/Experience: Typically 6 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
