Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Responsibilities: GENERAL PURPOSE: Serves as a cornerstone for ensuring high-quality patient care delivery in an inpatient setting. By providing expert clinical guidance and fostering a culture of excellence, this position significantly impacts patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams, advocating for best practices and adherence to standards while promoting a nurturing environment for professional growth among nursing staff. FT position available, D/E/N rotating; weekends and holiday per unit policy Exciting opportunity to join a high functioning, dynamic nursing team that supports all inpatient units in managing complex clinical, emergency, and administrative needs across the institution. The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) role emphasizes strong staff support, offering clinical guidance and problem-solving to nurses in a variety of settings, and serving as a liaison to maintain open communication among providers, management, unit staff, the admitting clinical coordinator, and other CRN groups. As an expert clinician, the CRN frequently responds to and assists with Code, Rapid Responses, MERT, Sepsis, Difficult Airway, and Stroke Alerts, providing advanced nursing assessment, critical thinking, and real-time bedside support. In collaboration with hospital leadership, the CRN helps to coordinate resources to maintain patient safety, address operational issues, and assist with patient bed management. The ideal candidate holds a bachelors degree in nursing, has a minimum of 3 years of critical care experience, and demonstrates excellent communication, leadership, and prioritization skills; leadership experience and specialty certification in critical care are preferred.
