What Youll Work On The Microbiology Lab Data Coordinator is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of division- and plant-level documentation, including product and raw material specifications, procedures, and related quality records for materials manufactured or purchased by Abbott Nutrition. This role creates and manages document change requests, supports documentation control processes, and contributes to Quality Assurance projects across the division. Working with minimal supervision, the coordinator effectively prioritizes and manages workload to meet business needs, deadlines, and organizational priorities while successfully completing both routine responsibilities and special projects in a timely manner. Provide document management support to the Quality Assurance and Global Documentation functions, including word processing, database entry, document distribution, and related administrative services. Utilize multiple computer systems to efficiently retrieve, maintain, store, and distribute controlled documentation. Initiate and process Change Requests (CRs) on behalf of functional areas that do not have system access, ensuring compliance with established change control requirements. Leverage a strong understanding of the change management process to provide guidance and support to employees who are new to the process. Serve as a subject matter expert for document formatting standards across a variety of document types, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance while training and mentoring new documentation specialists. Evaluate documentation and related business processes within the scope of responsibility, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness. Youll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
