Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope: The Quality Engineer is responsible for assisting in the planning and analysis of products and processes to eliminate future quality issues. The Quality Engineer is responsible for maintaining and approving product quality throughout the manufacturing process. This role partners closely with production, engineering, and customers to ensure compliance with IPC, customer, and regulatory requirements while driving root cause analysis and continuous improvements. This position is located at 6457 Fly Rd. East Syracuse, NY 13057. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D) and verify corrective actions Support PFMEA, control plan development, and process change evaluations Support MRB activities and disposition decisions Report and analyze department and corporate KPIs to management Acts as the company liaison in planning, communicating, and resolving quality issues with the customer through the RMA process Manages the customer complaint process and SCAR responses while driving internal corrective actions related to customer complaints Identifies customer requirements and provides inspection plans related to their requirements Serve as a resource to departments for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement through analysis of yields, scrap, and defect trends using SPC and other quality tools. Communicates customer related issues to operations team management team Assist manufacturing and engineering in identifying and eliminating root causes of failures Essential Knowledge & Skills: Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job Able to communicate with customers and all levels of operations Able to chair specification review team to effectively create inspection plans related to customer requirements Analyze failures and provide diagnosis and remedy to customer Conduct training in quality concepts and tools Prepare procedures related to the quality function Able to perform micro-sectioning and use measurement devices Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering required with ASQ certification preferred Five years experience Quality department, printed circuit board preferred Experience with 8D preferred #LI-PG1 Compensation and Benefits: TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $76,202 - $127,003 Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location. Export Statement: Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
