Role Summary The Data Engineer supports the delivery of modern data solutions across commercial, operational, and enterprise domains within CSA engagements. The role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and contributing to open lakehouse and medallionlayered architectures. Working closely with senior engineers, solution architects, and data product leads, the engineer translates requirements into reliable, productionready data assets that enable analytics, reporting, and data products. Core Responsibilities Data Pipeline Development Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines that support batch and microbatch workloads. Develop ETL/ELT workflows that integrate data from enterprise systems, operational platforms, and external sources. Implement scalable data processing patterns aligned with open lakehouse and medallionlayered architectures. Ensure pipelines are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with engineering best practices. Data Modeling and Architecture Support Contribute to the design of data models across raw, refined, and curated layers. Apply medallion architecture principles to support data quality, consistency, and reusability. Support integration of ERP and enterprise systems by preparing, transforming, and harmonizing source data. Participate in discussions on performance, scalability, and data design decisions. Data Governance and Quality Implement data validation rules, quality checks, and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability. Apply foundational data governance practices including lineage, metadata management, and cataloging. Collaborate with governance and data product teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards. Collaboration and Delivery Work with CSA teams, senior engineers, and data product leads to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks. Partner with customer engineering and analytics teams to support onboarding and operationalization of delivered pipelines. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery. Communicate progress, blockers, and technical considerations clearly to teammates and stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree. 3+ years of experience as a data engineer, with demonstrated handson delivery of data pipelines and models 3+ years of experience building data pipelines, transformations and data models using SQL, Python, and modern ETL/ELT development practices. Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA. No visa sponsoring available. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of open lakehouse concepts and medallionlayered data product design. Familiarity with data integration patterns, orchestration, and distributed data processing. Experience working with ERP or enterprise systems and preparing data for downstream consumption. Ability to work in customerfacing delivery environments and collaborate with crossfunctional teams. Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts and collaborating effectively. Experience working within Agile delivery models. Experience with cloud platforms and modern data ecosystems, including: AWS services such as object storage, orchestration, and data transformation tools. Data replication tools for enterprise systems. Snowflake for data warehousing and transformation. GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, BigLake, and cloud storage. Exposure to commercial, operational, or enterprise analytics use cases. Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructureascode, and DevOps practices. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
