THE JOB: As a Utility Houseperson at Bellagio youll help set the stage for an exceptional guest experience by ensuring our resort is clean, welcoming, and always guest-ready. Through your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to service, youll help create a comfortable and polished environment for every guest. By supporting housekeeping operations and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the property, you play an important role in shaping each guests stay. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guests experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us! THE STARTING PAY: $24.7819 / Per Hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Perform general cleaning of guest rooms and hallways Clean carpet, upholstery, glass tabletops, and windows; polish marble; and rearrange furniture in guest rooms per guest request Complete dusting of high and elevated areas, including behind headboards by pulling beds away from walls Deliver and stock linens, including sheets, pillowcases, and terry items to floors and Guest Room Attendant locker rooms Use bonnet machine, extraction equipment, and furniture cleaning machine (CFR) to remove stains from chairs, couches, and other furnishings Bonnet up to 25 rooms and shampoo up to 15 rooms per day THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Six (6) months of prior relevant cleaning experience in a similar resort style setting preferred Six (6) months of prior relevant experience with maintenance on various floor surfaces using related cleaning, buffing, and extraction equipment preferred Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals used daily Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Free meals in our Bellagio employee dining room Free parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts properties Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groups Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION: https://mgmresorts.marketpayjobs.com/ShowJob.aspx?EntityID=2&jobcode=14184 Are you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
