We are seeking a Level I Civil/Highway Engineer to join our Pennsylvania team. In this role, you will conduct design work for streets, highways, interchanges, railroad sites, and other infrastructure projects. You will perform a variety of engineering duties and be responsible for developing engineering studies, designs, estimates, and construction documents. You will utilize engineering software and interface with CAD designers, other engineers, and subcontractors. This role can be located in either our Harrisburg, Cranberry Township, or Plymouth Meeting office. Key Responsibilities: Perform field investigations, roadway/highway design, grading and drainage, utilities, green infrastructure, work zone traffic control, site layout, and other associated transportation engineering duties. Develop civil/highway design plans, profiles, sections, and details using engineering software (such as AutoCAD and MicroStation). Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, specifications, and other contract documents. Support multi-disciplinary design development teams for project execution. Provide support for other engineering activities as required. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) and 3-7 years of related work experience. PennDOT civil/highway experience preferred. Familiarity with PennDOT standards and specifications. Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation software, as well as working knowledge of other PC software packages typically associated with engineering. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred. Security Clearance Requirement: None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
