Responsibilities & Qualifications Why Youll Love This Role Contribute to a wide range of engineering and planning services, including crash analyses, program management, and conceptual design reviews. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to shape safer, more inclusive transportation networks. What Youll Do Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing guidance on State, county, and municipal projects. Conduct crash analyses and develop data-driven safety recommendations. Support and manage safety-focused programs and initiatives. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and coordination. Develop safety targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and summary reports. Contribute to Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) activities and implementation. Review Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) assessments and performance plans. What You Bring Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 35 years of traffic engineering design experience. Preferred certifications: PE (Professional Engineer), AICP (Certified Planner), RSP (Road Safety Professional). Strong knowledge of safety and design standards including: NJ SHSP Highway Safety Manual (HSM) HSIP Complete Streets ADA Compliance Safe System Approach AASHTO, MUTCD, NACTO, NJDOT Design Manual Additional Information TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $80,000 - $115,000 annually for this position and local market.
