Full Job Description

The College of Engineering Technology is seeking a Visiting Lecturer to teach in our First Year Programs Division for introductory programming, DC and AC circuits, and electronics. The ideal candidate will have experience in embedded programming, microcontroller-based systems, Python programming, peripheral interfacing, and/or embedded systems development. Master's degree required; Candidates with degrees in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or closely related engineering disciplines are encouraged to apply. A PhD in Engineering Education or experience in Engineering Education Research (EER) is desirable. Industry experience is preferred The First Year Programs Division (FYPD) in the College of Engineering Technology at RIT is dedicated to fostering first-year student success through a dynamic, student-centered learning environment.
