Professional Position Details: The Opportunity: As the Finance/Budget Manager for the Extension Community and Economic Development Program Unit (CED), you will support faculty, programming and center activities. You will be required to independently manage fiscal budgets at the Program, unit and faculty levels, and assist the Director in all aspects of faculty support, including annual reviews, professionalization, operations, and promotion/tenure processes. This involves communicating effectively at all levels of the University system and exercising independent judgment, decision-making, initiative and tact in performing all duties as well as maintaining strict confidentiality. In this role, you will also provide fiscal management support, as needed for constituent elements of CED. CED is home for 20 faculty members with Extension appointments, and provides operational support in addition to managing faculty success and advancement.
