Charter Steel, located in Saukville, WI is hiring night shift Production Operators: Pay: $25.75/hour starting pay: includes night shift premium, paid weekly! Bonuses quarterly bonuses, profit sharing, and a $2,000 hiring bonus after 90 days Schedule: 12 hour night shifts on our 5-2-2-5 schedule. You would work 5 nights on, 2 nights off, 2 nights on, 5 nights off; Have every other weekend off! Benefits: Access great benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match and paid time off. Growth: Advance with on-the-job training, apprenticeships, and tuition reimbursement Safety: Work in an environment committed to safety and improvement Stability: Join an established Midwest company with four generations of family ownership Roles available: Billet Conditioner (Melt Shop): A fast-paced role that requires the use of torches, overhead crane and forklift operations. Finishing Operator (Rolling Mill): Rotate through several jobs in a fast-paced role- finishing, trimming, running conveyers, and operate the compactor Bander (Processing Plant): Running industrial banding/steel packaging machines and forklifts What you'll need: A high school diploma or GED (we can help through our FREE GEDWorks program) Comfortable with basic math (like counting and simple calculations). Can communicate clearly with team members. A team player who works well with others. Can follow directions and also help guide others when needed. Good at solving simple problems on the job. Forklift experience is a plus! Nice to haves: Background in manufacturing or industrial production, assembly, warehouse, welding, construction, steel, or other hands on jobs Fork lift experience is a plus!
