The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates knowledge, skills, and abilities. What Youll Do Youll have a hand in every aspect of getting a vehicle looking its best. That means things like Prepping, cleaning, washing & waxing cars. Removing defects, and assisting with painting and minor repairs from time to time. Keeping Tools and Equipment in excellent shape. Observing safety & health procedures. Completing work orders & other vehicle documentation. Following regulations on paint and other tools of your trade. By the way, a valid drivers license is a must well need you to drive some of these bad boys from point A to point B. And, if you know your way around auto detailing, painting, and some simple repairs, well, thats another plus in your column. Whats In It For You? Who You Are First, youre a safe and capable driver with a track record to prove it. You can drive both an automatic and a manual like a boss. The physical demands required to get a vehicle looking like a million bucks are no problem for you. Doing a great job matters to you, and working with a tight-knit group to get the job done right gets you even more pumped. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED preferred. Generally, less than 2 years experience in a related field Previous experience in detail shop or buffing experience helpful. Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Medium strength: ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.). Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks. Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, electrical shock hazard and toxic or caustic chemicals. Moderate noise level.
