The Role This role will be a part of a growing team that helps drive the success of the IT department by providing excellent customer service and technology experience. The IT Support Specialist will ensure PMSs systems are efficient, secure and up to date, providing IT support and expertise to keep everything running smoothly across our global operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn and grow with a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer focus. Job Responsibilities Provide first and second-level technical support for Particle Measuring Systems, software applications, and related hardware. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively, escalating complex problems as needed. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems. Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers as required. Document and track customer issues and resolutions. Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets. Participate in the development and improvement of IT support processes and procedures. Manage AD users and groups, permissions, and email systems. Support Microsoft 365/Azure environment with emphasis on Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint applications Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Required Qualifications Associate's degree in information technology or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems. Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environment General Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (On-Premise and Online) General Knowledge of Hypervisor technology (Hyper-V and VMware) Understanding of networking including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Understanding of Microsoft Server technologies including Active Directory, File/Folder Permissions, Print Management, Remote Desktop, etc. Experience with cloud-based technology and applications. Strong documentation skills Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong and creative problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-growing team. Excellent customer service.
