Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Architect with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong portfolio of built work, leadership in project delivery, and a deep understanding of architectural design, construction documentation, project management, and client engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the firms design excellence and innovation while growing our business in the Phoenix and surrounding markets. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through construction. Manage project teams, schedules, budgets, and client communications. Oversee the preparation of construction documents and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project phases. Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture. Participate in business development efforts, including proposals, interviews, and client presentations. Ensure quality control and adherence to firm standards and best practices. Qualifications: Licensed Architect in Arizona; NCARB certification required. Minimum 15 years of professional architectural experience. Proven experience in leading complex projects across various sectors (e.g., commercial, institutional, educational, civic). Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools. Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and sustainable design practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Project Management experience. Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Preferred Attributes: LEED Accreditation or other sustainability credentials. Experience with Design-Build or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical expertise. What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.
