About Us: Midtown Oaks Post Acute is a skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Sacramento. What Youll Do: As our Activities Director, youll be responsible for developing, organizing, and leading a variety of individual and group activities designed to meet the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs of our residents. Your creativity and compassion will help create a vibrant, person-centered experience. Responsibilities Include: Plan and implement daily, weekly, and monthly activity calendars Coordinate recreational, educational, cultural, and spiritual programs Organize special events, outings, and resident celebrations Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet resident interests and abilities Maintain accurate records, participation logs, and care plan documentation Supervise and mentor activities assistants and volunteers Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support resident well-being Qualifications: Previous experience as an Activities Director or in a similar role in a skilled nursing or senior care setting preferred Knowledge of MDS/State activity documentation and regulations a plus Ability to lead engaging, age-appropriate group and one-on-one activities Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills Certified Activity Director (or willingness to obtain certification) preferred Passion for enriching the lives of the elderly What We Offer: Competitive pay: $25$29/hr, depending on experience Full-time schedule with consistent hours Supportive team culture Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits (for eligible employees) Opportunities for growth and professional development Join our team and make a difference every day.
