Job Summary Reporting to the HR Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting onboarding and operational HR processes for Professional Staff, including physicians, researchers, fellows, and residents. This position manages endtoend onboarding activities, ensures compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements, and serves as a central liaison between new hires, department leadership, payroll, credentialing, and other internal partners. The role requires strong attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple onboarding activities simultaneously. Qualifications Onboarding & Employment Processing Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance through start date Create and maintain new employee records in Workday and Beeline platforms Initiate and track background checks, education verifications, and other preemployment requirements Coordinate completion of employment eligibility verification (I9) and EVerify processes Partner with Occupational Health team to ensure timely medical clearance, as required Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires providing guidance on onboarding steps and timelines Appointments, Compliance & Documentation Support staff appointment process in accordance with the bylaws of the Professional Staff of the General Hospital. Review, verify, and maintain sensitive employee and applicant documentation in secure databases Respond to verification of employment and staff appointment requests Coordination & Internal Partnership Act as liaison between HR, Payroll, Credentialing, and departmental leadership to resolve onboarding and payrelated issues Assist with identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, or documentation discrepancies and recommend improvements Provide backup coverage for other HR team members as needed Participate in special projects and other HR initiatives as assigned Additional Job Details (if applicable) Required Qualifications Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Prior experience in HR, onboarding, or administrative support preferred Experience working with Workday and Beeline platforms is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other standard office applications Familiarity with employment eligibility requirements and immigration documentation (e.g., I9 process, work authorization visas) preferred Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team Remote Type Remote Work Location 399 Revolution Drive Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Employee Type Regular Work Shift Day (United States of America) Pay Range $19.81 - $28.30/Hourly Grade 3 At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
