As a Lead Specialist on our Crisis Support team, you bring deep operational expertise in incident monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder communicationwhile also mentoring peers and setting the standard for excellence in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. This role operates on a rotating schedule, with shifts changing every four months. Team members work 10-hour shifts, followed by three consecutive days off, ensuring comprehensive coverage 24/7/365. This structure provides both extended rest periods and consistent operational support throughout the day. About the team: The Walmart Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is a 24/7/365 global crisis monitoring and reporting center that intakes critical incidents including infrastructure incidents, threats related to criminal activities, geo-political crises, weather-related emergencies, and other events that may impact Walmart associates, customers, facilities, or operations worldwide. What you'll do: Monitor and intake daily incidents reported by facilities; communicate critical information to stakeholders with precision and urgency. Maintain and uphold department standards for response metrics and customer service level expectations, serving as a quality benchmark for the team. Create and review departmental reports including emergency alerts, situational summaries, and data summaries for leadership and stakeholder briefings. Coordinate and fulfill information requests from Legal, HR, and external agencies. Model and reinforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and Walmarts standards of ethics and integrity. Champion the implementation of business solutions through structured testing, continuous feedback, and rigorous quality assurance.
