Peer Support Specialist, UHS Summit Building Shift Day Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience. Overview United Health Services is committed to the care of our patients with behavioral health issues. This Peer Support position is in the Methadone Maintenance Clinic. The clinic is located in United Health Services Summit Building, directly across the street from Binghamton General Hospital. The ideal candidate will have lived experience with addiction and prior experience Peer Counseling. UHS's Peer Support Specialist provides peer support, information, and advocacy to individuals diagnosed with a serious and persistent relevant illness, in order to assist them in regaining control over their own lives and recovery process and integrating into the community. They engage with patients hospitalized at UHS Hospitals.
