Location: FLC North Branch 6555 Ravenna Ave. NE Seattle WA 98115 Full Life Care is a not-for-profit organization, incorporated in 1980. From the beginning, we have been dedicated to improving the quality of life for adults and their caregivers. We help adults of all ages with chronic illnesses and physical or developmental disabilities regardless of their income. We have an amazing opportunity for a Full Life Care - Homecare Specialist to join our team! This role starts at $24.85/hour; $25.10/hour with related license This position is represented by SEIU Local 775 Our Homecare Specialists: Provide non-medical care tasks to clients as outlined in their care plans. Guide and actively assisting Homecare Aides with various client needs, including personal care, bathing, toileting, dressing, transfers, ambulation, and positioning. Facilitate and maintain communication between the client, their Homecare Aide, and the Homecare Supervisor when necessary. Effectively and promptly communicating client changes to Homecare Supervisors. Serve as an on-site problem-solver for both the Homecare Aide and the client. Participate in team meetings to discuss client concerns and program updates. Assist with clerical tasks such as payroll entry, filing, orientations, processing applications, and contacting clients and Homecare Aides as needed. Demonstrate knowledge of all homecare training procedures and tools. Think critically in the field and seeking direction from Homecare Supervisors as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information What You Need to Succeed: A high school diploma or GED is highly preferred but not required. A minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience. Completion of all required state-mandated training and certifications. Ability to complete tasks and projects as assigned by your supervisor. Proficiency (written/verbal) in English language. Strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner. Availability to be reached and respond quickly to client emergencies. Experience with Hoyer lifts and completion of Nurse Delegation and Nurse Delegation for Diabetes training highly preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Capability to travel intermittently throughout the day. Ability to assist clients with walking, transferring, and bathing.
