Full Job Description

MatrixCare, the leading provider of cloud-based software for the post-acute care industry, is seeking a team-player with a natural propensity to share concepts and techniques as well as foster and encourage sharing of knowledge. The Product Manager will elicit, analyze and document the needs of the stakeholders. Practical, relevant billing and financial experience as a creative problem solver and a proven ability to solve tough challenges with high quality is critical. The Product Manager will be involved at many levels throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a software company, preferably in the healthcare software market Experience working with and interviewing customers and stakeholders to surface detailed requirements information Excellent listening skills to understand and interpret customer and stakeholder responses Strong facilitation skills to lead requirements and user story sessions Strong interpersonal skills to help negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts amongst project stakeholders Strong analytical capabilities, to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, decompose requirements into lower-level details, and distinguish true business needs from proposed implementations or user requests Must have a high-level understanding of web-based software technology in a Microsoft environment Experience with the MatrixCare Home Health and Hospice application in billing and financial functionality Primary Duties Work with project stakeholders to understand requirements translating the business needs into user stories that can be understood by the software engineers Ensure the product backlog priorities to align with the product vision and priorities defined by the Group Product Manager Ensure user stories meet the business objectives of the stakeholders Lead user story reviews with the development team Lead review of features/development that has been completed during the sprint in Sprint Reviews of software to ensure the requirements were interpreted correctly Assist in the user interface design of the software products Lead Sprint Planning and answer questions from the development team to ensure they are able to understand and fulfill the needs of the user stories Assist in the troubleshooting of production related customer issues, as needed Review, and assist with generation of, product documentation, release notes and customer education deliverables Manage changes to requirements or scope creep through effective change management processes Assist with answering questions from internal customers (Sales, Support, Services, Customer Success, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in accounting or Finance, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in medium to large scale software IT projects We are shaping the future at ResMed, and we recognize the need to build on and broaden our existing skills and continue to attract and retain the worlds best talent. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidates geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
