Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing nutritious, appealing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary requirements Ensure food is cooked, held, and stored at proper temperatures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas Follow portion control standards and food safety guidelines Collaborate with dietary aides and nursing staff to accommodate special diets Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living kitchen preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification is a plus) Minimum of 3 years of experience in a nursing facility Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods Why Join Our Team At Waterman Canyon Post Acute, you will be part of a team that truly cares.
