As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be part of the Global Commercial Finance Department at HQ in Alameda, CA. This is a key financial role that will support and partner with Global Finance, Commercial and Strategic Marketing teams with a particular focus on sales analytics, forecasting and long-term strategic plan. Coordinates with Division HQ to meet finance requirements and deadlines for the team. Enhance and create analytics to support the understanding of Sales submissions. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA. What You'll Do Facilitate and help develop the forecasts for Global Commercial for Plan, rLBE, and OEM Ensures completeness and accuracy of the financial submissions. Interpret financial results and recommend options based upon analysis of data and information. Contributes to the strategic planning process by providing baseline information and financial support to non-financial business partners. Establishes partnerships within Global Commercial team, Global Strategic Marketing and area finance to acquire and/or provide relevant information. Responds to ad hoc financial and market requests. Identify meaningful analytics including trend analyses, which can be gleaned from rLBE submissions that can be presented to Global Commercial senior leadership to help ensure forecast accuracy and identify areas for potential improvement within the P&L. Lead OEM exercise financial analysis by partnering with areas to model strategic planning choices in the mid-long term and provide insights and recommendations to support management decision making process. Manages and coordinates the Build-up Model forecasting tool in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and the alignment of refreshment calendar and benchmarks across the organization. Provides Build-up Model training to the organization as needed. Operates with a significant amount of autonomy, works independently, and proactively navigates the division network to accomplish goals/tasks, but is also interested in working with other GCHQ team members to ensure team success. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING Required: Bachelors Degree (preferably in finance, accounting or economics) 3 years financial analysis experience. Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems. Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting. Highly proficient in Excel.
