What will you do in this role? The Lifestyle Guest Relations Associate (GRA) is a Part Time position, working as part of the OakwoodLife team, delivering professional customer service to create a welcoming environment at our Active Adult clubhouses/communities. As an integral part of the OakwoodLife team, the GRA will also exhibit the core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and innovation in all aspects of their OakwoodLife work. Under the direct supervision of the Lifestyle Director, the GRA will be a first point of contact for prospective new members, current members, and guests at the clubhouse front desk. The GRA will respond to member and guests with a high level of energy providing professional, respectful service while performing a variety of membership service support duties that include: Develops positive relationships with members and guests, providing a welcoming environment and guidance focusing on the needs of OakwoodLife members. Open and close facilities, based upon shift work times, per Standard Operating Procedures, respectively. Assists Lifestyle Director and Concierge with member phone calls, emails, surveys, and other duties in the delivery of lifestyle experience services. Assists members, their guests, and prospective members, with program/activity registration, answers inquiries, including member concerns and provides information on community programming. Assist Discovery Cottage guests in support of their stay (where applicable) Circulates throughout the building hourly to ensure safety of users and security of building and surrounding amenities (i.e., pickleball, pool/spa, etc.) May act as manager on duty (MOD) if assigned. Training Requirements for systems/upkeep of information through intranet. Remains current with certifications and training requirements. Carry out daily tasks and shift assignments including but not limited to: Experience Desk: Handles customer requests, processing transactions, change requests, answering phones and providing information to members and community. Providing an excellent member experience while performing these duties. Floor Attendant: Provides a great member experience by assisting members with needs and requests, customer service & member connection, equipment knowledge and assistance, cleaning/sanitizing equipment after member use as may be needed. Facility Assistance: Assist class instructors with room set-up. Greeter/Welcomer: Greet and guide members, guests, and community visitors at point of contact, check in members (fob access), issue guest passes, and highlight daily activities. Customer Service/Member Support: Provide excellent member experience and support by creating an environment where members and guests are provided care in a safe, fun, and engaging environment through promoting program and membership enrollment, encourage participation, and events/activities registration. Cleaning & Sanitation: Ensure routine cleanliness and sanitization of facility to ensure safety of members, instilling confidence in those we are serving, in accordance with OakwoodLife policies. Lifestyle Programming: Facilitates lifestyle programming including but not limited to set-up, event execution, and event/activity breakdown. You Have: High school diploma or equivalent. One or more years of relevant work experience, preferably in similar hospitality-focused environments. Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations. Basic fiscal management skills that ensure business growth and sustainability. Must be adaptable, have high ownership and strong work ethic. Commitment to shared accountability, teamwork, and creative leadership. Must possess and demonstrate an ability to interact positively with people. Must be able to perform several duties simultaneously and take the initiative to solve member problems. Understanding of the nature and purpose of OakwoodLife and the respective roles of volunteers and staff. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in accordance with location volume and events.
