Job Description: Note: This is a seasonal position at the Wegmans Organic Farm through October 2026, with opportunities for continued employment at a store location. Wegmans Organic Farm & Orchard in Canandaigua, NY offers the opportunity to join a team passionate about sustainable agriculture and growing high-quality organic produce. As a seasonal worker, you'll work hands-on in the fields harvesting fruits and vegetables, helping bring fresh, local produce from farm to table while gaining valuable experience in agriculture. What Youll Do Plant, cultivate and harvest crops, including watering, composting, weeding, and applying organic sprays Drive/operate farm machinery when necessary Grade and package crops for marketing and selling within our stores Work effectively in a team-based environment, assist as necessary to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner Complete tasks timely without sacrificing quality Strictly adhere to food and human safety guidelines and procedures Perform work both outside in various weather conditions as well as indoors as needed Requirements Provide incredible service by bringing enthusiasm to every task Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong time management skills Preferred Qualifications Agricultural experience or related coursework Experience working with agricultural equipment/tools Who is Wegmans Food Markets?
