With locations in 15 countries across Europe, North America and Asia, Daher designs and develops value-added solutions for its aeronautical and industrial customers and partners Dahers Pompano Beach, Florida site is a key U.S. Part 145 aircraft maintenance and service center, providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, inspection, and technical support for Dahers TBM and Kodiak turboprop aircraft. The facility supports both individual owners and commercial operators, performing handson airframe, powerplant, propeller, and systems maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer data. The site also plays an important role in training and mentoring aviation maintenance professionals, reinforcing Dahers commitment to safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within its global aircraft support network. We are seeking to add a General Facilities Technician to our Pompano Beach facility. Primary Role and Responsibilities: The General Facilities Technician is pivotal in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and aesthetics in the Daher pompano Facility. This role is responsible for the thorough cleaning, polishing, and upkeep of the aircraft's interior and exterior, the Pompano Facility and ramp areas. What youll be doing day-to-day: Perform a thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors before delivery to the customer. Includes exhaust stack and boot polishing. Conduct routine inspections to identify any areas requiring repair or special attention. Document completed tasks and report any discrepancies. Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to schedule detailing services. Cleaning of the hangar and minor facility repairs. Assist aircraft technicians as needed. Utilize specialized tools and cleaning agents designed for aviation use. Deliver and pick up aircraft parts. Take customers to the airport or hotel as required. Move and Tow aircraft as needed. Fuel aircraft. Perform duties as requested by the management. Clean, paint, plumbing support as needed Vendor coordination and getting Quotes and bids. Other duties as assigned. What you need to have: Experience in aircraft detailing or comparable field Familiarity with aviation industry standards and practices Certifications related to aircraft maintenance or detailing or cleaning Ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy equipment and materials Good communication and teamwork skills Forklift experience a plus or be willing to train Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing Must be able to read, write, and understand English Must have a clean driving record. Information related to the position: (Required for all positions) The compensation range is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
