Procurement Agent Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring an Experienced Procurement Agent (Level 3 and 4) to join our Supply Chain Operations team. You will be located in North Charleston, South Carolina. Position Responsibilities: Identifies, establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products, services and data that support necessary supplier contractual corrective actions and resolution of issues (e.g., poor schedule performance, product and producibility issues) to ensure contractual compliance Collaboration with others; communicates across functions (e.g., procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns Co-facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements Identifies needs for training on business and manufacturing practices (e.g., requirements interpretation and clarification, contractual compliance, scheduling tools, technical skills, self-assessment) to supplier for improvement or enhancement of delivery performance Participates in on-site supplier assessments with the procurement agent (e.g., Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement & support Boeing procurement strategy Monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan; assesses supplier resource plans Identifies and communicates opportunities to implement new processes or improve existing processes This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes 3+ years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes 3+ years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external), at all levels, on a one-on-one basis and in group settings Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 50% of the time) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience working with production teams 3+ years of experience leading teams & prioritizing milestones 3+ years of experience with MS PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis, presentations, and communication Experience in a strategic role Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
