JOB DESCRIPTION TMZ is looking for a Broadcast Production Assistant to join our Broadcast Operations crew. The Broadcast PA is responsible for routing and recording audio and video for TMZs television shows, podcasts, and news team. The Broadcast PA will have significant interaction with TMZs studio and newsroom, and assist in all areas of show tapings and operations. This position is located in Playa Vista, CA. Responsibilities: Perform utility routing and monitoring of audio and video for entire TMZ facility Record multiple sources throughout the day depending on current production needs Operate flashcam for live shots to affiliate stations and national news programs Fill in for Broadcast Technician when required Assist on floor during studio production Set up stage and technical elements for TMZ Audio Network (podcast) productions Other duties as assigned Requirements: 1 2 years of experience BA Communications/Radio-TV or equivalent experience Intermediate MS Office skills and ability to learn new software Ability to monitor multiple applications in real time Basic audio/video signal flow and broadcast terminology TMZ is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
