Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Job Description KLA is seeking Mechatronics Interns for Summer 2026 at our Ann Arbor, Michigan location. This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate with engineering teams to enhance the performance and capabilities of KLAs inspection and metrology tools. Interns will contribute to projects involving the design and development of hardware and/or software systems to evaluate mechatronics performance. Youll work alongside other interns and engineers on a focused component of a larger initiative. Commonly used tools include LabVIEW, CREO, and MATLAB. Desired qualifications/education (skills & experience): Ideal candidates will have academic or hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: CAD design Control systems Finite element analysis MATLAB or python scripting Data acquisition/visualization Experience or interest in hardware design is a plus. Strong analytical skills are essential. We are especially interested in candidates who plan to return to graduate school in Fall 2026 to complete a masters degree.
