Dietary Worker Part Time Evenings/Weekends Queens Join a dedicated team that plays a vital role in supporting patient care through exceptional service and attention to detail. In this rewarding role, youll: Prepare and serve meals that meet patients dietary needs Build positive relationships with patients and families Maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen, cafeteria, tray line, and dishwashing areas Registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund is necessary. Schedule: Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Typical hours: 3:45pm7:45pm, 4:00pm8:00pm, or 12:00pm8:00pm. Weekend availability is required. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in food service Strong customer service background with a commitment to putting patients first Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail settings Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Ability to follow directions and work independently Comfortable using kitchen equipment (dishwasher, cleaning tools, serving utensils, toasters) Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
