Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Reporting To: Manager, Site Quality Work Schedule: Onsite Buffalo, NY Our team in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join us. You will report to the Site Quality Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in West Falls, NY. You will be relied heavily upon to have integrity, and as someone who wont be afraid to stand up and say STOP we have a problem we that need to address right away. To be considered for a QA Engineer, heres what youll need to bring with you: Bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical discipline. May consider combination of education/experience in lieu of degree. Minimum of 1-3 years of Quality Engineering work experience in manufacturing including AS9100 standards or similar, statistics, spreadsheets, and database software packages. 2 years of related experience in aerospace quality is preferred. Experience with statistical, spreadsheet, and database software packages Experience in manufacturing including AS9100 standards or similar, statistics, spreadsheets, and database software packages As a QA Engineer, you will: Improve production by conducting QE studies and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel. Activities will include failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, audit support, configuration control, and traceability. Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, and final inspection. Work directly with internal customers to identify root cause and corrective action. Improve cost for inspection and prevent cost due to failure through statistical analysis and problem solving.
