Employment Status: Part Time Seasonal Wage Range: $15.00 to $17.00/hr Minimum Age: 14 Background Check Required: No Driver Verification Required: No Position Summary: The dishwasher is a vital member of the culinary team responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards during high-volume wedding and banquet events. Operating in a fast-paced alpine resort kitchen, this role ensures all dishes, glassware, and cookware are efficiently cleaned and organized to support seamless catering operations. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Dishwashing & Inventory Control: Operate commercial dishwashers and manually wash plates, silverware, glasses, pots, and pans to meet the resorts premium presentation standards. Event Pace Support: Continuously sort, wash, and restock event inventory during high-volume wedding rushes to keep the catering service running smoothly. Kitchen Sanitation: Clean specific kitchen equipment components as needed, empty garbage, and sweep and mop floors to completely reset the dishwashing area at the end of each shift. Physical Demands: Stand and walk for up to eight hours per shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder height. Environmental Adaptability: Work safely in a bustling, fast-paced kitchen environment, which includes minor outdoor exposure to variable mountain weather.
