Position Summary The Field Safety Engineer is responsible for directing the safety program within the semiconductor facility by actively identifying, assessing, and reducing hazardous conditions. This position involves designing and evaluating strategies for hazard control, conducting investigations and audits, and managing corrective actions. Role and Responsibilities Role and Responsibilities Heres What Youll Be Responsible For: Ability to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility. Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements. Evaluation of task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements. Document and track results to support safety program elements. Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation. Conduct employee training for education on site safety requirements. Conduct monthly meetings with safety sub-committee. Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses and standard operating procedures. Assist with the daily management of the tiered auditing program including closure of facilitys preventative and corrective action plans. Skills and Qualifications Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: >2+ years experience in Health and Safety performing similar tasks required Bachelor of Science or MS in Safety, IH, Environmental Science, Engineering, or closely related field Familiarity with OSHA Regulations (Construction and General Industry) and reporting guidelines Preference for experience in General Industry at a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility. The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $150,760. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
