At 160/90, the Partnerships team is comprised of subject matter experts around the world helping clients create, negotiate, activate and evaluate integrated marketing programs. Based in either New York, Charlotte, or Los Angeles, this Account Manager position will be part of a dedicated agency team responsible for managing and fulfilling esports and gaming sponsorships with publishers, teams/orgs, and talent for key clients highly focused on gaming. The Role and What Youll Do: Lead the strategic development and activation of clients sponsorships -with an emphasis in esports and gaming partnerships Responsibility for regional and national sponsorship initiatives Develop detailed project plans for assigned events (digital and in-person) and talent partnerships, as well as manage timelines to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met timely and within budget Collaborate with internal creative staff to brief necessary projects and ensure high quality, on-time deliverables Liaise with internal divisions as necessary to develop cultural marketing strategies that are grounded in fact-based insights and measured against key performance indicators Interface and manage with other account team members, client(s) and all appropriate agencies and partner properties on a daily basis to coordinate all fulfillment aspects of assigned programs and events Manage the upfront RFP and evaluation process for new, renewed and prospective sponsorships, as well as the after-action performance measurement process based on established client objectives Create and maintain client-ready materials, such as POVs, recommendations, and activation plans Manage measurement and return-on-investment process in conjunction with sponsored properties and programs Liaise/interface with external agencies partners on programs and activation You Have These: Bachelors degree required Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant agency, partnerships, or client-based account management experience Deep experience working within esports, ranging from teams to leagues and major esports publishers, as well as influencers/creators Experience with traditional sports sponsorships teams, leagues, etc. Military experience and/or a proven desire to work with military-based programs is preferred Experience with brand positioning, marketing strategies, and experiential marketing Ability to activate sponsorships, inclusive of integrated campaigns ranging from digital, social and experiential Participation in the selection, negotiation, and evaluation of successful sponsorship programs Proven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client management experience preferred Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to problem-solve independently and in groups Ability to travel 25% of the time (including weekend events) Proficient in MS Office Suite & Photoshop How we work: WME Group is at the center of sports, media, entertainment, and fashion and is a largely relationship-based business. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
