Job Description What is the opportunity? The primary purpose for this position is to provide analysis, processing, and customer service support for our outgoing account transfer team. Incumbent will review, verify, and record data into technology systems supporting department processes. Incumbent provides thought leadership and implementation support for department process changes, system enhancements, and new initiatives. Incumbent will address escalated questions independently seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate following established department procedures. Position contains increased elements of risk which are managed through operational reviews, system checks, and adherence to procedures. What will you do? Complete Automated Customer Account Transfer (ACAT) cycles hourly and associated reports daily. Provide customer service through emails and phone calls to RBC firms/branches, receiving firms, and other operations teams. Provide expertise to account transfers team involving outgoing ACAT activity. Provide feedback to manager and team lead on processing improvements and procedural changes Reduce risk or increase efficiencies by suggesting process changes and system modifications. Participate in testing and implementation of new systems and processes as required. Train and act as a resource for other Operations team members. Address escalated questions independently, seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate following established department procedures. Work with Team Lead and Manager to research, coordinate and implement projects and initiatives. What do you need to succeed? Must-have High school diploma or equivalent with three years of job related experience in business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, train and provide work direction to others. Effective problem identification, analytical, and resolution skills along with proficient computer skills in Windows-based software products. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, strong customer service skills, organizational skills, and superb attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. Nice-to-have Bachelors degree in finance, business or related field. Previous experience in the securities or banking industry. Experience with brokerage systems. Whats in it for you? This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
