Overall responsibilities The overall responsibilities of this position include inspection of in-house and vendor purchased products, and raw materials and services; inspection of packaging and labeling materials used for medical device. Quality Inspectors will also assist in the operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality and striving for efficiency and excellence in all endeavors while adhering to all safety requirements. Position duties and responsibilities · Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production. · Inspects incoming, in process and finished products and material for visual, mechanical, and dimensional characteristics, using inspection sheets and applicable sampling plans. · Comparing the obtained results with the target values of the relevant requirements and specifications and documenting any deviations. · Read and follow visual aides, engineering change notices (reworks), or established operating procedures, determine acceptance or rejection of product. · Follow standardized and routine written directions and visual aides for assigned quality assurance inspection operations. · Visually inspect products using magnifying glass, lot sampling methods, first article checks, and /or AOI machines. · Enter standardized information into computerized MES system using simple keystrokes to indicate pass or failure of board. · Lot release and archiving of batch documentation. · Prepares necessary documentation and ensures paperwork compliance on all inspected items. · Assist in the training of co-workers in new or improved techniques in areas of experience. · Performs Roving Auditor function involving inspection of product in a Manufacturing Flow Cell. · Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. · Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. Job profile Education Requirements: · High School diploma or equivalent required. · One year experience utilizing inspection techniques in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry. · Experience with Microsoft PC applications. · Experience with MRP / ERP systems. · Minimum experience in reading technical drawings and using measuring instruments preferred. The hourly pay range for this role is $14.86 - $26.73.
