Full Job Description

Group Description Citi Treasury safeguards the balance sheet, capital, and liquidity of Citigroup while providing oversight of liquidity, interest rate and currency risks. Payments, clearing and settlement (PCS) solutions provided by Citi business lines to institutions and individuals requires the firm to maintain sufficient liquidity during operating hours to ensure the timely completion of those services. Intraday liquidity (IL) management activities and resources bridge timing gaps between client funding activities and Citis completion of those PCS activities on behalf of those clients. Several treasury functions work with each other as well as business partners to ensure those resources are available to meet client needs and to support an orderly market for these systemically important processes. The Intraday Liquidity team within Treasury leads the firms Intraday Liquidity Target State objectives and the development of IL strategy, operating framework, reporting and governance. Objectives of the team also include optimization of existing practices as well as proactive preparation for market changes and regulatory changes including instant, 24/7 payment processes as well as cash and securities digitization solutions. Scope of Responsibilities The Senior Lead Analyst will demonstrate a broad understanding of IL management practices and an awareness of the business drivers that contribute to the use of that liquidity. Analytical experiences should highlight the candidates ability to diagnose issues and identify opportunities within a dynamic environment. This role will be instrumental in developing and representing Citis readiness to all stakeholders, including regulators. An understanding of payments, securities settlement and clearing services activities is desired. Primary responsibilities include: Contribute to the redesign of operating model in support of instant payments, accelerated asset settlements and continuous (24/7) client solutions Assist in the rollout of blockchain based and tokenized payment solutions Interpretation and implementation of new regulatory guidelines impacting Citis intraday liquidity and payment management practices Analyze IL usage trends, impacts upon liquidity reserves and related asset optimization opportunities Manipulate large payment data sets to identify specific critical payments and perform scenario analysis Collaborate with local entities to implement intraday escalation early warning indicators and adherence to global guidelines on documentation and controls Qualifications include: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Treasury or Treasury Risk. Candidates with other relevant payments/ clearing/ settlement experience will also be considered. Developed skill base with respect to liquidity metrics, analytics and regulation BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Science, Engineering or Math Collaborative orientation along with desire to interact with colleagues at all levels and across functions Demonstrated analytical experience and ability to concisely communicate analytical objectives, observations and relevance of findings in written, visual (graphical) and verbal form Proficiency with analytical software tools as well as PowerPoint, exposure to coding/scripting is beneficial but not required Ability to present to stakeholders and senior management ------------------------------------------------------ Job Family Group: Risk Management ------------------------------------------------------ Job Family: Finance Risk ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Primary Location: Tampa Florida United States ------------------------------------------------------ Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $113,840.00 - $170,760.00 In addition to salary, Citis offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
